FALSE: Ivanka is NOT Receiving $100 Million from Saudi….Nice Try Libs

What is it with Democrats and their obsession with fake news? If there’s none for them to spread, then they will create it! At least that’s what CNN does, right?

Sunday, social media started booming with internet “professionals” as they reported that the president’s daughter, Ivanka Trump was set up to receive $100 million from Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates.

There’s just one problem with these accusations…..they aren’t true!

CNN Chief National Security Correspondent Jim Sciutto tweeted:

Then, when he sent out a lesser tweet after the truth came out, people were unhappy with him for reporting the fake news to begin with.

However, he wasn’t the only one reporting the fake story!

I wonder just how embarrassed they are for spreading fake rumors, or if they even feel bad at all. Maybe people will start opening their eyes at who is really reporting fake news. Hint: it isn’t Fox.

Daily Wire reports:

The money is actually going toward a fund called Women Entrepreneurs Fund, which is run by the World Bank, not Ivanka. The only thing Ivanka has to with the fund is that she proposed it. The Wall Street Journalreports (emphasis added):

Ms. Trump has made the promotion of women entrepreneurs a signature part of her focus since her father’s inauguration in January. She has advocated for issues such as paid family leave, though the issue has gained little traction in Congress. While she had proposed the idea of the World Bank fund, Ms. Trump doesn’t control it or raise money for it, one person familiar with the plans said.

Again, this is not Ivanka’s charity, nor will she monetarily benefit from the donation at all, unlike the Clintons with their scandal-ridden Clinton Foundation.

I guess the only requirement to work at CNN is to be able to lie. You don’t even have to be able to lie good. You just need to be morally corrupt and willing to do it.
