PA Lawmaker Silences Internet Troll by Calling His Grandmother…Then Turns Into Bully Himself

Whether you are the troll or the one being trolled, we are all familiar with the internet “haters,” as some people like to call them. The beauty of the internet though, and perhaps the most dangerous thing about it, is that your information is out there somewhere. So if you do so choose to be a troll, and you aren’t smart, then it is likely that the “victim” can find out some personal information about you fairly quickly.

That’s what happened when someone only, identified as David, decided to post some very racist and homophobic slurs on the Facebook page of an openly gay, Pennsylvania lawmaker, Rep. Brian Sims.

Not smart kid, not smart at all.

After David posted the offensive comment, Sims did some slight digging and found just the weapon he needed to silence David once and for all: Grandma. If you say you aren’t scared of your grandmother, then you’re probably lying, because we all know she can put you in your place quicker than your own mother.

According to Fox News, Sims replied to the post with a simple response that I’m sure stopped David cold in his tracks. It read, “David, I can’t tell if you’re just a really dumb little boy or an angry bigot but I know for sure that you shouldn’t have posted your grandmother’s telephone number on your Facebook page. She and I just had a very disappointing chat about you.”

Ah. The one word that can make you feel lower than dirt: disappointment.

Sims later shared a photo of the post and his comment, with the caption: “Dear Bigots, posting your grandmother’s telephone number all over the same page you use to post slurs on other people’s pages is not going to end well for you. Brian”

The post got hundreds of comments applauding Sims for how he handled the situation.

Kudos to Sims for shutting up a troll with a good, old-fashioned, talking to grandma. While this is hilarious, I was very disappointed to visit Sims Facebook page.

After being recognized by Fox News for the funny story though, Sims then turns into the trolling bully himself, and calls Fox a long list of names that Liberals are so famous for using. How can he expect to teach others not to call names when he is doing so as well. This is the pot calling the kettle black. Maybe his motto is: “Do as I say and not as I do?”

He also uses his page to openly bash the President. Here is a screenshot of his post, as well as a comment on the post:

Ah. The feminist liberals are a dime a dozen. It never ceases to amaze me. So just like that, the one being trolled became the bully. Maybe someone should call Sims’ grandmother?
