Fox News Reportedly Suspends Judge Andrew Napolitano Over These Comments

Although neither Fox News nor Andrew Napolitano have commented on the matter, sources have confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that the networks has at least temporarily suspended the commentator following his comments about Obama using the British intelligence agency (GCHQ) to spy on Trump during the campaign. The LA Times reported:

Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano is being kept off the air indefinitely amid the controversy over his unverified claims that British intelligence wiretapped Trump Tower at the behest of former President Obama.

Fox News did not respond to inquiries about Napolitano’s status Monday. Napolitano was conspicuously missing from the network’s coverage of the confirmation hearings on Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch — an event in which he typically would have played a significant role. He has not been on the air since Thursday.

People familiar with the situation who could speak only on the condition of anonymity said Napolitano is not expected to be on Fox News Channel any time in the near future. Napolitano was not available for comment.

In other words, ‘anonymous’ sources have confirmed that Napolitano has been suspended. Napolitano appealed to ‘anonymous’ sources as well – three allegedly inside the intelligence community – when he brought up the GCHQ and their possible involvement with surveillance at Trump Tower before the election.

In addition, the New York Times and the Washington Post also built their narratives based on ‘anonymous’ sources.

Isn’t it interesting that all these stories and narratives were built on ‘anonymous’ sources, yet Napolitano is the one who gets canned? His narrative was as unsubstantiated as the rest of the media’s claim that Russia swayed our election in Trump’s favor. They’re all based on these ‘anonymous’ sources, yet we’re only supposed to believe the ones that favor Hillary Clinton and seek to undermine President Trump.
