What We’re Reading January 15, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Wednesday January 15, 2014.

The folks at Reason.com outline several of the main lies and half-truths the Obama administration peddled in an effort to get Obamacare passed. Needless to say – it was purposeful and it was malicious. The Obama Administration is full of liars.

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) says that President Obama shouldn’t just get the award for “Lie of the Year,” but also for the “Lie of the Century.”

Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) is upsetting some of her constituents for what they see as a lie. In Florida, she has said that she supports extra sanctions against Iran. In Washington, D.C. she tells the press that she agrees with the President (who is against extra sanctions). Which one is it Debbie?

The Obama administration is being forced to once again apologize for “misspeaking” as they walk back their faulty Obamacare enrollment numbers.

Iran is celebrating America’s surrender. Wow.

Here’s some very sad news for you. We are the generation that allowed the USA to fall out of the top-10 nations in economic freedom. We are now #12 on that list below Australia, Hong Kong, Mauritius and Estonia. Yuck.

A new study finds that Congressman Alan Grayson (D-FL) is the least important member of Congress. Way to go! What a great distinction…
