It has not been a good couple of weeks for Hillary Clinton and books. Just last week former Defense Secretary Bob Gates released his book recounting how Hillary Clinton callously revealed that she cares nothing for the lives of others.
The one moment of the book that could have the most impact on the national mind, though, has to do with one of Gates’ memories of Hillary Clinton. In detailing his memory of a conversation between President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton, Gates was surprised at how immoral the two politicians could be.
“Hillary told the president that her opposition to the surge in Iraq had been political because she was facing him in the Iowa primary. . . . The president conceded vaguely that opposition to the Iraq surge had been political. To hear the two of them making these admissions, and in front of me, was as surprising as it was dismaying.”
While it might not be surprising that a politician would do things out of political motivations, it is surprising that a politician as seasoned as Clinton would admit it. Consider what she is saying here. “Hillary told the president that her opposition to the surge in Iraq had been political because she was facing him in the Iowa primary…” She is essentially saying that her political future is more important to her than the lives of thousands (perhaps millions) people. She didn’t care about the thousands of soldiers (and their families) that she was putting in danger (by not providing them with the support they needed). She didn’t care about the thousands of people whose lives were at risk in Afghanistan and Iraq. She didn’t care about the impact that the war could have on the future of our nation…
All she cared about was winning the next election.
Well, now a new book, “HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton,” is being released into the political arena and it has even more damning news about Hillary Clinton. While we’ve known for years that the Clintons were famous for being able to hold a grudge – apparently that’s just the start of it. Hillary’s aides literally built a “blacklist” highlighting her enemies and then rating them on a numerical scale! They were rated from 1 – 7 with 7 being as low as you could go on Mrs. Clinton’s personal spitelist.
According to the report, Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass.; Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va.; Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa.; and Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., were among those to earn a score of 7 on the list.
The list of who’s naughty and who’s nice — in their eyes — was largely based on who endorsed then-candidate Barack Obama in 2008, who endorsed Clinton and who sat out the race.
You can’t make this stuff up.
If you have to write up a list of all the people you don’t like and then give a score as to the level of your dislike… isn’t something wrong with you? Folks, if we elect Hillary Clinton President in 2016 we are going to deserve whatever pain comes from it. This woman is all sorts of wrong and I pray that the Republicans will run someone worthwhile in the next election.
