Trayvon Martin‘s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, are now seeking political office in Florida, and you guessed it, they are advancing all the liberal talking points.
Fulton and Martin have apparently tried to capitalize on their son’s death by publishing a book titled “Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin.” However, now they have set their sights on political aspirations.
“We certainly want to look at the positions that are available locally, and then we want to look at the positions for the state of Florida and then U.S. positions,” Fulton said on ABC’s Good Morning America. “We want to take a look at those positions to see what areas we would best benefit from and communities would benefit by having us there.”
Just like good liberals, the couple’s aspirations seek to attack the law, the Constitution, the rights of free people.
“We want to speak on behalf of the community, and not just as victims of senseless gun violence,” Fulton said.
Note that in the video, after all this time, the media continues to represent Martin as doe-eyed little boy rather than the thuggish grown man he actually was.
Ah, yes, senseless gun violence. We find that is often the case when liberals want to cry about thugs who attack people and then are gunned down in their prime. We never hear about them promoting the use of a weapon in order to defend life, do we? We never hear them promote the fact that weapons in the hands of the people secure as free state. Yet, she doesn’t stop there.
“We support better education, healthcare, of course, women’s rights, human rights, immigrants’ rights—there [are] just so many different issues that come into play,” she added.
Yes, just so many issues. Government should have nothing to do with education or healthcare. As for women’s rights, she is obviously referring to an alleged right a woman has to dismember and murder the baby growing in her womb. In other words, Fulton is like most liberals and is in favor of making the murder of a baby a mother’s right.
Human rights are definitely an issue, but it depends on who is defining them. She would like for women to have the right to murder their baby, but I’ll guarantee you will not hear her stand up for the right of the baby to live. As for immigrants right, all men are created by their Creator with unalienable rights. However, that does not mean immigrants have a right to do whatever they like in a foreign country, anymore than a citizen does.
Amanda Shea at Freedom Daily comments regarding what has empowered “thug parents” like Fulton and Martin.
Only under Barack Obama’s administration would rabid thugs and their families feel empowered to tell people what to and be given and official political platform to enforce it. Now that Obama is out and a real leader is in, the effects of this entitlement are still coming up today thanks to some backhanded “help” from Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
The families of thugs shot by cops as a result of their own actions were made heroes under Obama and poster people for anti-cop rhetoric. These hoodrat families loved the soaking up all of the attention they were given for not raising their kids to be respectful and putting menaces out into society who asked for what they got. Even Hillary Clinton used these mothers as pawns for her political agenda to become president. When that didn’t work, these parents still weren’t ready to relinquish the limelight and have now taken it to a potentially destructive new level.
Capitalizing on their son’s death, Trayvon Martin’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin first wrote rhetoric-riddled book, “Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin. That wasn’t enough for this money and power-hungry set up parents, who set their aspirations on politics and were made to feel that they had a place there after being used by the left, but were too ignorant to realize that they were just ploys in Hillary and Barack’s plans.
Indeed, when criminals are in power, all they do is embolden people like Trayvon Martin and his parents to push against the law.
