Potential DNC Chairman: ‘We Have to Teach [Volunteers] How to Shut Their Mouths if They are White’ [VIDEO]

I could be wrong, but I don’t think this woman is going to be the next chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). She definitely said a lot of things that would make black liberals happy. But she’s a white woman from Idaho.

If you recall, Symone Sanders – Bernie Sanders’s former spokesman – said that her party does not need another white person. She’s also the one who laughed and exclaimed, “Poor white people!” when someone brought up how a white Trump supporter was beaten in Chicago.

The Democratic Party has hit a point of diminishing return in their history. They had previously prided themselves on “diversity” and being the party for minorities. Everyone knows how they pandered to blacks, to Latinos, to women, to the LGBT crowd. They pandered to everyone except white, middle class workers.

But that has backfired. You’d think they’d try to learn from their mistakes, but instead – judging by one of the candidates for DNC chairman – they seem to be doubling down and going overboard.

Sally Boynton Brown is the current executive director of the Idaho Democratic Party. She had an interesting way of applying for the job of DNC head. She basically said that as a white person, she knows nothing. Here’s part of what she said:

I’m a white woman, I don’t get it…

My job is to listen and be a voice and shut other white people down when they want to interrupt…

We pull people in and they are volunteers. They don’t know anything and then we send them out to have conversations with people, hard conversations.

We promote them to chair of a party where they have power and they have no clue what they are doing. We have to, at the DNC, provide training.

We have to teach them how to communicate, how to be sensitive and how to shut their mouths if they are white. So I think I made my point.
