So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Tuesday January 7, 2014.

It’s so cold. So cold. It’s so cold many airlines are delaying and cancelling flights.

Apparently yesterday, Monday January 6th, is called “Blue Monday” by psychologists and happens to be the most miserable day of the year! Who knew?


Our world looks eerily reminiscent to the world of 1914 – can we avoid repeating the mistakes we made then?

Liz Cheney has decided to end her bid at unseating Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi as the Republican candidate for the Senate in 2014. Enzi’s road should now be cleared to reelection – he is quite popular in his home state.

It’s not worth your money to try and buy airtime during the Super Bowl.

Candy Crowley wonders why the unemployed would vote Republican – apparently in Crowley’s view the unemployed would rather have welfare handouts than work. Republican policies create jobs, Democrat policies create unemployment.

The USA lags in math, reading and in credit cards.

Former Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer doesn’t think he’ll be running for President in 2016, saying that a run would “ruin his life.”
