Cop Gets Wonderful Christmas Surprise Visit From Military Daughter

“What a surprise,” he said, still grinning broadly.

We are all a sucker for surprise military visits, caught on video. We watch them with a grin and often a shed tear or two. So here is a Christmas video, with a happy ending.

Officer John Palmer’s daughter, Airman McKinley Palmer, showed up unexpectedly at the Middletown Division of Police late Saturday afternoon. Her mother, Deborah Ratliff, captured the joyous reunion via a 1-minute, 11-second video and posted it to Facebook.
