What We’re Reading January 3, 2014

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Friday January 3, 2014.

Happy Friday!

As 2014 starts Obamacare is still having HUGE problems.

The contractor building the financial management system for Healthcare.gov is being blamed by a Houston hospital for delayed Medicare reimbursements that have caused the hospital to miss payrolls for weeks.

A liberal college professor has discovered the real reason that Obamacare sucks… “White southern radicals.” Yes, she really said this.

“[S]outhern White radicals vowed to stop implementation of the Obama-care law leading one to wonder if Tea Party members would oppose affordable healthcare if it came from a nonBlack [sic] President.”

Bob Grant, widely considered the father of conservative radio, has died.

Obama’s half-brother was surprised to learn the President lied about meeting him. He’s the only person still surprised by the President’s lies…

The New York Times argues for Edward Snowden to be given amnesty.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is pushing for extra security measures across his country after the recent terrorist attacks in southern Russia.

The Northeast United States is being hammered by a winter storm. It’s not the only really cold place in North America though, Winnipeg has seen recent temperatures that rival nights on Mars!

The NSA is tired of all you computer geeks trying to encrypt your emails… so they’re looking to build a super-computer that could crack most types of encryption.

I’m all for “equality” of the sexes, but is it worth lowering the physical fitness standards of our soldiers? Maybe there are only a handful of women who can serve in combat because of the physical requirements – is that really all that bad? I don’t think so…

TIME Magazine says men are obsolete.
