State Dept. Just Found 30 Clinton Emails Pertaining to Benghazi!

Of the 15,000 emails pulled from Hillary Clinton’s private server by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), 30 of them could pertain to the 2012 Benghazi attack, according to State Department officials.

The approximately 30 emails were found using general search terms related to Benghazi. It’s not clear at this time whether any of these emails are duplicates of the 55,000 pages of emails previously made public, or if they’re newly released.

As State Department spokesman John Kirby said, “Using broad search terms, we have identified approximately 30 documents potentially responsive to a Benghazi-related request. At this time, we have not confirmed that the documents are, in fact, responsive, or whether they are duplicates of materials already provided to the Department by former Secretary Clinton in December 2014.”

Trending: Thanks for you loyalty… IMPORTANT news about Eagle Rising…

Hillary Clinton had handed over roughly 55,000 pages of some 30,000 emails in late 2014. Instead of transferring them over in digital format – which would have made searching the documents fast and easy – Clinton actually ordered her staff to print out every email on physical paper. [Tree-killer!] Obviously, this made searching for terms and redacting information extremely long and laborious.

Of those 50,000 to 55,000 pages, 900 of them pertained to the Benghazi attacks in 2012 that left four Americans dead. Clinton had repeatedly claimed that those printouts represented all of her work-related emails.

But if those 30 or so emails that have just been found by the FBI do in fact pertain to Benghazi, and they’re not duplicates, then it would seem she forgot a few. These 30 came from the 15,000 that were forensically recovered from her private server – the same server on which Clinton used BleachBit to delete 30,000 other emails. In fact, it is not known how many were actually permanently deleted from her server. At a press conference in March of last year, she claimed she “chose not to keep” 30,000 emails, since they were “personal.”
