An Open Letter to Senator Ted Cruz

Written by Dale Summitt

The United States of America is literally sinking, like the H.M.S. Titanic before it, and tens of millions of Constitutional Conservatives know it, talk about it constantly, warn everyone who will listen of the dire consequences, but neither her people as a whole nor its so-called leadership, are doing anything to act to save her. Warts and all, Donald Trump is trying, but without immediate help from Americans and Senator [score]Ted Cruz[/score], Trump cannot succeed alone.

No one individual, no matter how great a leader, can save America. When the H.M.S. Titanic set sail on her maiden voyage from Britain to America in April of 1912, she was considered unsinkable, and even after striking the iceberg that sealed her doom, passengers remained arrogant enough to say, “ God himself could not sink this ship “. America is the “ Titanic of the world’s nations, and she is sinking, and sinking fast. In our case, while we desperately need leadership, we also need leaders and the American people to put our faith in God, because, referencing the remarks made about the Titanic on the night she sank, “ only God himelf can save the ‘good ship America’.” A political solution alone simply will not suffice for America, as our nation nears its sunset. We need Trump, we need Ted Cruz, we need Christians, we need millions of American voters, and most of all, we need God.

During the recent tumultuous and disastrous G.O.P. primary campaigns, as clear as it became that Donald Trump was destined to win the nomination, it was equally clear that Ted Cruz is the candidate who should have won. If Conservatives, particularly Southern state Conservatives, had been listening more carefully to platform rhetoric, these voters would have realized that Ted Cruz was promising to deliver everything of merit that Donald Trump was promising, and much more. Senator Cruz’s message was drowned out by Mr. Trump in the Southern states because his nationalistic and populist bombast excited the Southerners, who were far more familiar with Trump than with the Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who, while a Bible Belt Conservative, was known far better in states west of the Mississippi. That is easily demonstrated by how well Cruz fared out West, while Trump tended to do well in the East.

Senator Cruz is obviously ambitious, and having failed to secure the nomination in 2016, is already positioning himself to seek the office of President again in 2020. However; if America is to be saved from the brink of extinction as a Republic by 2020, Cruz must mount a fast horse and gallop forward with an entirely new message for America and especially Constitutional Conservatives. Should Donald Trump win the Presidency, the alarming descent into a Socialist Dictatorship will be forestalled beyond 2020. If on the other hand, God forbid, Hillary Clinton wins the Presidency, only an all-out political firefight during Hillary’s first term can keep America together long enough to even hold another Presidential election in 2020.

Right now, Senator Ted Cruz simply must, as a Christian, forgive Donald Trump for insulting his honor and his family, and vigorously campaign on Trump’s behalf for the sake of these crumbling and besieged United States. Any and all who love our country must put their “never Trump” emotions, their “vote our conscience” emotions, and any pathetic and suicidal excuses aside, and band together immediately to fight a savage campaign to defeat Hillary Clinton.

For our nation and its people at this darkest hour, this imperative is pure self preservation. Because Senator Ted Cruz is arguably America’s most visible and most prominent Constitutional Conservative and Evangelical Christian, Mr. Cruz is the natural heir to the seismic political earthquake that is forming at this very moment; the emergence of a drastic political realignment and the demise of the Republican Party. The mantle of leadership in the formation of a new, Constitutional Conservative Party clearly falls upon Senator Ted Cruz his many allies outside of Congress, and amongst the tens of millions of Constitutional Conservative voters across this failing nation.

Senator Cruz, your first and immediate duty in 2016, is to buy time for America by vigorous support and campaigning for the election of Mr. Trump instead of Hillary Clinton. Afterward, in January of 2017, having discharged your honorable duty to American and Conservatives, it is next your moral imperative to lead the formation of the new Constitutional Conservative Party, to permanently replace the G.O.P. which has become corrupt, elitist globalist, cowardly, treasonous, and totally ineffective. For as at least half this nation knows, the destruction of America is as much the result of Republican inaction as it is Socialist Democratic assaults. Anyone who claims not to recognize this reality, should run for Chairman and Chief Osterich of the Rip Van Winkle Society.

This writer calls upon every American who loves this country and wishes to save her from the brink of destruction, to support and vote for Mr. Trump in 2016, as the “interim President” to save us from Hillary Clinton. In 2017, it becomes our sacred duty to support the formation of a permanent new Constitutional Conservative Party, because unless the filthy, traitorous “establishment G.O.P. is replaced immediately, the United States of America will be dominated by the dark and evil Socialist forces hell bound and hell bent, upon ruling us with an iron fist and putting Conservatives to the sword.

Please pray for America and for Ted Cruz to answer our call. As John F. Kennedy said in his inaugural address on January 20, 1961, and remains far more true today, “God’s work must truly be our own.”
