What We’re Reading December 11, 2013

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Wednesday December 11, 2013.

President Obama’s approval rating is cratering and Democrats across the country may be in for some very rough times in the not so distant future.

The House and the Senate have reached a budget deal compromise that should keep the government from shutting down for the second time in the last few months. If the conservative block of the Republican Party would like to scuttle it they probably could… but it seems like they won’t.

Rep. Alan Grayson has lost millions of dollars to fraud… again. This is the second time he has been duped out of millions in investments.

President Obama got really cozy with Cuban premier Raul Castro at Nelson Mandela’s funeral – thankfully there was at least one American who knows how to treat a despot. Ted Cruz got up and walked out when Castro began to give his speech. Afterwards, he had this to say,

“Senator Cruz very much hopes that Castro learns the lessons of Nelson Mandela,” said Sean Rushton, Cruz’s communications director. “For decades, Castro has wrongly imprisoned and tortured countless innocents. Just as Mandela was released after 27 years in prison, Castro should finally release his political prisoners; he should hold free elections, and once and for all set the Cuban people free.”

Ben Affleck felt icky after whoring himself out for the Democrat Party – glad to hear he has a conscience.

One of the best conservative social media sites out there, Twitchy, was just bought out by the conservative media empire that owns Townhall and HotAir.
