Obama Wins Award for Best Gun Salesman in American History!

Written by Philip Hodges

During Obama’s time in office, there have been over 141 million gun purchases, or as theWashington Examiner’s Paul Bedard calculated, 52,600 per day. (I know it’s hard to believe, but Obama’s been in office for about 2,715 days.)

It might be somewhat cliché to say that Obama is the nation’s greatest gun salesman, but it’s true. The numbers bear it out.

Last year alone saw 23 million gun purchases, and this year is set to exceed that amount. Gun manufacturers produced about 21,000 guns per day during Obama’s first six years in office.

Not only have gun purchases skyrocketed under Obama, but if Hillary does well in the polls or wins the general election, gun purchases will go through the roof.

Justin Anderson – the marketing director for Hyatt Guns in Charlotte, North Carolina – confirmed Obama as the nation’s greatest gun salesman. He told the Washington Examiner:

“The recent surge in gun buying is based on two variables: fear of government intrusion on Second Amendment rights, and, more importantly, people interested in personal protection,” Anderson told Secrets.

“Our sales have doubled across the board, not just in AR-style rifles, but also in small frame handguns and home defense shotguns. We saw this just after the San Bernardino shooting, as well. More and more people are coming to realize that their personal safety is at risk and their government cannot protect them,” he said, adding:

“This is likely the beginning of a long rise in gun sales leading up the election. Should Hillary Clinton take a significant lead, it will only boost these sales.”

People are buying up weapons and ammo, because of the perception that Democrats are the party of gun control. That’s one promise by Democrats in power that they won’t renege on.

They’re always first on the scene of some mass shooting to promise the country more regulations and restrictions on firearms – infringements that won’t do anything to convince criminals not to commit horrific acts.

But that’s not the only reason. People see that the government is incapable of protecting Americans from terrorist attacks such as the ones we’ve seen recently in Orlando and San Bernardino. If the government can’t be expected to protect the country, then we have no choice but to arm ourselves for our own defense.
