What We’re Reading May 28, 2016

Written by Onan Coca

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Saturday, May 28, 2016.

Whoa. Washington, D.C.’s Attorney General refuses to obey the law, decides to deny citizens of their right to self-defense.

As the GOP unites around Donald Trump, the Democrats continue to collapse in disarray.

President Obama talks a big game about nuclear proliferation and the reduction of arms, but the truth is that the reduction of our nuclear arsenal has slowed during his presidency.

The Democrat Party establishment is NOT HAPPY with Senator “Bernie” Bernard Sanders and his decision to accept a debate with GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has decided to let the Republican National Committee handle all of his fundraising needs during the upcoming presidential campaign. Trump seems sure that his candidacy will open up the GOP to a world of new (maybe) possibilities and that traditionally BLUE states will vote for him over the average Republican.

The media is starting to dig into the white nationalist cult following that Mr. Trump is building (not purposefully). This could be very bad news for both Trump and the GOP who are constantly forced to parry Democrat attacks on race.

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) leads his primary challenger by 73 points, partially because both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are WILDLY unpopular in his home district.

Um. So. It looks like Hillary Clinton’s private email server was also connected to an Internet-based printer, which would have made security on the server even more porous than it already was.

A liberal journalist may have just penned the most idiotic column ever.

Free speech? Nah.
