2016 Election

What We’re Reading May 24, 2016

Written by Onan Coca

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Tuesday, May 24, 2016.

The Obama-Iran Deal was never about nukes at all. It was about withdrawing the USA from the Middle East, while allowing Russia and Iran to replace our influence.

No. The stories that Democrats tell about Republicans and voting are NOT true.

Heritage Foundation president and former US Senator, Jim DeMint, explains why he met with Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg.

Zuckerberg was firm in his commitment that Facebook would be an unbiased platform that encourages the sharing of all points of view, but he readily admitted that they had not yet perfectly achieved that goal.  It will take a lot of work and continual dialogue to keep the platform fair and open. But he convinced me that it was his genuine intent to root out any bias against conservatives or against any other point of view.

He asked for our recommendations to rebuild trust with conservatives. There were numerous suggestions, and I offered a few.

The Portland public school system is embarking down a dangerous and disgusting road as they seek to ban any book that might even hint at the idea that global warming is a fallacy.

The Portland Public Schools board is going to need to buy some carbon offsets to compensate for its new book-burning campaign… Well, okay, it’s not actually planning to burn the books, so it’s in the clear on the emissions. Perhaps it will use a more ecologically sensitive solution like composting. Either way, the politically incorrect books are on the way out.

Donald Trump has some work to do with conservatives – but he can win them over.

Donald Trump is really revving the engines of many people in the 3rd world.

Sadly for Trump enthusiasts, the latest data seems to prove that he has NOT been growing the GOP.

What might keep Trump’s wall from becoming reality?

In Austria the many parties of the left were forced to join a unity movement to stop a voter uprising, as Austria came very close to electing a “right wing” nationalist leader.
