What We’re Reading December 5, 2013

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Thursday December 5, 2013.

A new Harvard study says that Obamacare may be in some big trouble. Most of the uninsured young people that Obamacare needs to be survive, don’t plan on signing up for coverage.

Documents released by Edward Snowden show that the NSA is collecting cellphone date from over 5 billion cellphones every day. The NSA says that they are only “tracking” foreigners and any American’s whose data gets swept up in the data grab is “incidental” but these “incidental” events happen millions (maybe even hundreds of millions) of times. “The spy agency is said to be tracking the movements of “at least hundreds of millions of devices” in what amounts to a staggeringly powerful surveillance tool. It means the NSA can, through mobile phones, track individuals anywhere they travel – including into private homes – or retrace previously traveled journeys.”

Harry Reid might love forcing you to have Obamacare, but he’s exempting his own staff. Seriously.

Hey senior citizens who voted for President Obama, we hate to say this but… we told you so. A new report shows that Obamacare will strip more than $300 Billion from Medicare Advantage.

No more not being able to use your cellphone while flying, so now you can keep up with your Facebook and Twitter even while travelling!

You may have to change your online passwords and quick.

Tim Tebow may be having a tough time finding a job in the NFL, but he is not having trouble finding work. It seems that several major networks are currently engaged in a bidding war to hire Tim Tebow as a college football analyst.

A month after making his horrible comments about Sarah Palin, Martin Bashir is finally out at MSNBC.
