What We’re Reading May 20, 2016

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

In Virginia, liberals lose again as a federal judge upholds a state law requiring voters to show an approved photo ID before being allowed to cast their ballots!

A new report shows that the Defense Intelligence Agency warned President Obama NOT to free the terrorists from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba because of the high likelihood that they would return to terrorism. Of course, President Barack Obama ignored the advice and made the world a more dangerous place.

Speaking of President Obama… he’s still the most effective gun salesman in America.

Oh, by the way. Apparently 90% of Native Americans don’t care about sports teams using words like “Redskins” for their team names! In fact, the overwhelming majority of Native Americans say that the word ‘redskins’ is not offensive and they don’t feel it has any negative connotation!

Nine in 10 Native Americans say they are not offended by the Washington Redskins name, according to a new Washington Post poll that shows how few ordinary Indians have been persuaded by a national movement to change the football team’s moniker.

Hillary Clinton can’t “close” the deal.

Yikes. This would not be a “fun” way to go.
