We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Saturday, May 14, 2016.

Are Donald Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) actually “better off” without each other?

Former House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) is all-in for Donald Trump and very happy that Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) was finally defeated. “Thank God the guy from Texas didn’t win,” Boehner said on Thursday. Meanwhile, Senator Cruz still won’t offer his full-throated support for the presumptive GOP nominee, saying that those who pushed Trump to the top “will bear responsibility going forward.”

While everyone seems very confused about exactly what Mr. Trump is proposing with his tax plan, a campaign spokeswoman promises that he’s not considering any changes… for now.

Dr. Ben Carson is making the rounds and trying to convince Trump’s former rivals to give him their support.

Whoa. Apparently, Mr. Trump is not happy with the #NeverTrump movement because there are rumors starting to circulate that his campaign may be preparing a “#NeverTrump Blacklist”!

Candidates’ aides and allies want anti-Trump vendors barred from lucrative general-election contracts.

Fox News’ Megyn Kelly savagely mocked the media’s coverage of Donald Trump on a recent episode of her show.

Turncoat Senator John McCain (R-AZ) quietly included a provision to draft women into the military in the latest defense bill.

Millennials seem to like socialism, but they also seem blissfully unaware of what it actually is.

More college kids looking for a “safe space” as conservative Milo Yiannopoulos visits their campus.
