What We’re Reading May 5, 2016

Written by Onan Coca

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Thursday, May 5, 2016.

Donald Trump has a hard road ahead of him, and it doesn’t help to be unrealistic about his chances.

Does Mr. Trump’s primary victory mean that the GOP should move to confirm Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court as quickly as possible?

There is NO REASON to “hate” Donald Trump’s supporters.

Conservative columnist Kevin Williamson from the National Review has a message for the GOP:

Americans and Republicans, remember: You asked for this. Given the choice between a dozen solid conservatives and one Clinton-supporting con artist and game-show host, you chose the con artist. You chose him freely. Nobody made you do it. I will be reminding you all of that, from time to time.

The Libertarian Candidates and libertarian-leaning Republicans respond to Senator Ted Cruz leaving the race.

And so the persecution continues: one Democrat Attorney General has now targeted 90 different conservative groups in a racketeering suit over their opinion that man-made Climate Change is not a threat.

I’ve said it before and I will probably have to say it again in the future – the #NeverTrump movement is not a fad. These are real conservatives who vote their principles. Yes, they exist.

Another popular “Christian” band decides that they know better than the Bible in the debate over what is sin and what isn’t.

No, voting for a 3rd Party is not the same as voting for the “worst” major party candidate.
