Retired RINO John Boehner calls one GOP Presidential Candidate “Lucifer in the Flesh”!

Ugh.

If you didn’t already despise the former Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH), then he’s just given you all the reason you should need. On Wednesday night the former Speaker made an appearance at Stanford University where he shared some of his thoughts on the ongoing GOP primary.

Much of the discussion – and laughs – focused on Boehner’s views on the current presidential candidates. Segueing into the topic, Kennedy asked Boehner to be frank given that the event was not being broadcasted, and the former Speaker responded in kind. When specifically asked his opinions on Ted Cruz, Boehner made a face, drawing laughter from the crowd.

At this point, Boehner held nothing back from the crowd of students.

Of Senator [score]Ted Cruz[/score] (R-TX), Boehner said, “Lucifer in the flesh. I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.”

Boehner then added that he was “texting buddies” with Donald Trump and could indeed support him if he is the eventual candidate. He also added that he’s friends with Governor John Kasich (R-OH), and that while it’s work, he does love him. In fact, Boehner was far kinder about every other candidate in the race, praising “Bernie” [score]Bernard Sanders[/score] (I-VT) for putting up a good fight and arguing that Hillary Clinton was very accomplished and smart.

The worst of it all may have come when Boehner was asked about his political heroes and he pointed to Ronald Reagan. “Well you know I’m a big fan of Ronald Reagan. But I love all these knuckleheads talking about the party of Reagan. He would be the most moderate Republican elected today.”

Apparently Mr. Boehner forgets that Reagan was attacked and derided by the “moderates” in the GOP as far too conservative, and looking back over the last 100 years of American presidents, after Calvin Coolidge, Ronald Reagan is by far the most conservative.

This is simply another example of the historical revisionism that liberals so enjoy.

It’s simply disturbing.
