What We’re Reading April 6, 2016

Written by Onan Coca

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Wednesday, April 6, 2016.

The state of Tennessee just made the Bible the state’s official book!

The woman at the center of the Donald Trump/Corey Lewandowski controversy has been threatened with death by angry Trump supporters.

80 years after the introduction of the New Deal, the minimum wage is still not working. In fact, it causes far more problems than it has solved.

Liberal student gets in trouble with her liberal comrades for violating their “safe space.” How? She raised her hand.

President Obama warns landlords that they can’t decline renting to criminals because it’s a form of racism. The Obama administration is also inflating a new housing bubble by pushing banks to issue home loans to people with bad credit.

Sarah Palin recently reached a new low while campaigning for her preferred candidate. Palin said that Ted Cruz  was trying to “seduce” illegal immigrants with gift baskets of “teddy bears and soccer balls.”

Another lie that some folks in the Trump camp have been telling about Senator Cruz has to do with a dead D.C. madam. It’s a sordid tale, but it’s complete fiction.

Marco Rubio (R-FL) is back at work in Washington D.C.

Donald Trump now says that he will pay for the wall with Mexico by taking the money illegal immigrants send home to their families. However, there are apparently a lot of problems with this plan…
