Fidel’s Love Affair with Hating America

Hopefully, you saw the letter Castro sent to our Prez after he visited the [Starving] Workers Paradisio. He chastised Obama for various things. It’s funny to hear one failed socialist castigate another failing socialist. When Obama said in a speech to the Cubanos that there is little or “no difference between Capitalism and Communism…all you have to do is choose wisely between them…” I almost became ill. There is no end to the intellectual perfidy of these people. It was as if our own little El Presidente had missed the entire twentieth century, where everyplace communism got a foothold, even for a moment, it managed to leave millions of corpses in its wake. (Reminder note for liberals: Nazism is national socialism, and socialism by any other name, becomes communism once it completely loses its mind.)

Query: Has anyone seen a photo of Obama and Fidel Castro together during Obama’s visit? Even though Castro endorsed Obama in 2008 (maybe I was crazy, but I found that odd.), it seems he is no longer a die-hard Obama fan…like many who walk among us.

But after my tummy stopped churning I noticed the sneakiest thing about Obama’s historically ignorant statement was how he had framed the issues in his favor. The issue has never been “commies vs. capitalists.” It has always actually been “totalitarian thought (euphemism for tyranny) vs. FREEDOM.” Think of it this way, using Obama’s stupid ideological set-up for a moment. When people are allowed to truly “choose wisely” they choose anything but living under the boot of tyrants. Wise choices can only be made in a context of Freedom. Think about it. God created Adam and Eve in the Garden and gave them complete autonomy (ie; Freedom.) Freedom is yet another of God’s great inventions. Everything good came from His thought processes. It allows many wonderful things. Like “love.” As in “forsaking all others….” Like honesty, loyalty and many other things that make life rich and wonderful. I know…I know…Adam screwed up royally (but God fixed even that), but absent the freedom to choose good over evil as free moral agents, what are we and what is life?

Anyway….Obama rigged the question and like polls from The Huffington Post (or the ones the Republican Leadership in the 2012 election cycle were using), the structure of the questions predetermine the polling outcomes. It isn’t “commies vs. capitalists.” It’s FREEDOM vs. tyranny. When people are FREE to choose they don’t choose a boot on their neck.

And did you see where Luke Skywalker has decided that The Second Amendment only allows Americans to possess “…muskets.”  Where do self-appointed celebrities come up with this sort of thing? Maybe celebrityhood makes your mind evaporate. Particularly if you are a fading celebrity. Even that renowned Constitutional Scholar, Obama, hasn’t trotted out anything so goofy. (That I’m aware of.) When I read about Luke’s pronouncement, the author of the piece I was reading pulled out a cite to Blackstone (Note to liberals…Look him up). Apparently, there was a bit of English legislation around 1680 which strongly encouraged ownership of weaponry and also gave the rationale for same. It was our Second Amendment on steroids.  Only liars or simpletons would not readily grasp the legislative intent of the Blackstone law. It was a beautiful thing.

Finally, did you catch the little blurb from a speech by Chelsea Clinton about Obamacare? (Warning: this blurb is so dumb it makes me suspect it of being another internet prank…but here goes.) Chelsea, in what some liberals suspect to be an attempt to bolster Mom’s campaign, decried the huge cost of Obamacare for regular folks. (Who knew?) I haven’t looked it up, but wasn’t her Mommie Dearest a senator in that smoky locked Republican-free backroom where Obamacare was hatched? I suppose when you are talking to people with terminally defective memory dysfunction…you can say anything.

I am an attorney in Las Vegas who has always wanted to draw political cartoons, partly because I like drawing, but mostly because I enjoy ridiculing pompous know-nothings. Verbally debating them gets nowhere. They don't know they're beaten. But poking fun at them in a drawing leaves them without recourse or rebuttal. What can they do...? Call me names, whine, cuss me ... or maybe draw a witty riposte? Unlikely.
