What We’re Reading February 22, 2016

Written by Onan Coca

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Monday, February 22, 2016.

Donald Trump won the GOP primary in South Carolina. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) took 2nd and 3rd respectively, with Rubio getting 22.5% of the vote and Cruz getting 22.3%! In related news, Jeb Bush has dropped out of the race, but Governor John Kasich and Dr. Ben Carson continue to persevere for some reason…

Was Ted Cruz the “biggest loser” in South Carolina? Ted Cruz has come in 1st once and 3rd twice… but his campaign is now at a crossroads as he faces a couple of major obstacles. Meanwhile, Glenn Beck continues his furious campaigning for the conservative from Texas, as he urges anyone and everyone to join the #CruzCrew.

Donald Trump has suddenly changed his tune on Jeb Bush (now that Jeb is out of the race), saying that he believes Jeb would have won the election had he run in 2012!

Speaking of Jeb Bush – will he now endorse Marco Rubio? Their previously strong friendship seems to have suffered mightily over the last few months and that endorsement is no longer a “given.”

Who’s advising Donald Trump on healthcare? We only ask because his opinions on the issue are all over the place…

The latest revelations from Hillary Clinton’s ongoing email scandal show that while she was arguing against a trade bill in public, she was defending it and raising support for it in private!

Syria’s corrupt and violent dictator, Bashar al-Assad, wants to be remembered as “the man who saved Syria.”

Liberals are literally rewriting history to turn our heroes into villains…
