Obama and De Blasio – Big Ideas, Small Results!

David Lawrence
Written by David Lawrence

Obama did big things like Obamacare, negotiating with Cuba and Iran.  That none of these might work out doesn’t bother him.  He is malcontent making a splash in filthy water.

Mayor de Blasio is the same type of useless flamboyant character, promoting an outer-borough streetcar system.  After his bad policies have disappeared, his streetcar will be chirping along.

He claims his silly streetcar “is about equity and innovation.”  What does a dull streetcar have to do with either?

De Blasio then jumps into his humanitarian dribble and says that “his transit … will knit neighborhoods together and open up real opportunities for our people.” As if he were writing a new Constitution or doling out free housing to the poor.

De Blasio is a large man with large intentions and small results.  He is perhaps the worst mayor we’ve ever had.  Next to Dinkins who he worked for.

De Blasio should take his streetcar idea and put it on a train board where he can play  with his silly progressive ideas.
