Donald Trump has revved up status quo politics. For this we should be thankful.

The problem is, Trump does not have a worked out political philosophy. Many of his past views are deplorable — from supporting the Clintons to support of partial-birth abortion.

But there’s one news item that put a huge positive on his election. The following is from WND:

“Donald Trump may be the only candidate in U.S. history who could shrink the size of the federal government simply by swearing in as commander in chief.

“A poll of federal employees conducted by Government Business Council Jan. 20-26 found that a Trump victory may result in roughly 25 percent of the government’s workforce quitting.”

There are nearly 22 million federal, state, and local government employees in the United States. Of those, around 2.7 million are employed at the federal level.

In addition, nearly 50 percent of all union workers are employed by the government.

The budget would be reduced because of salary reduction, benefits reduction, and pension reductions.

Since the majority of government employees vote for Democrats, we might also see a reduction of voting support for the Democrat Party,

While President are only in office for a maximum of 8 years, government employees can be employed for 30 years or more.
