We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!
It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.
So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Thursday, January 7, 2016.

Liberals are out of step with mainstream America. They just don’t get that most Americans are “way more scared” of the government than they are of guns.
The brilliant economist and thinker, Thomas Sowell, argues that President Obama is the “Showman-in-Chief” when it comes to robbing Americans of their right to self-defense.
The mouthpiece of the neoconservative movement, the National Review Online, wants you to know that Marco Rubio is plenty “conservative enough” to be elected the next President of the United States.
Ha! Democrats were shocked and horrified to find out the truth behind the “standoff” in Oregon, and President Obama continues to remain silent on “the local issue”.
And… liberal morality gets even more disturbing. Apparently, 11-year old girls are now able to get an IUD implanted in them while at school without consent from their parents. But they are still not allowed to buy a soda.
Another Democrat tosses in the towel, and we’re glad to see him go.
Whoops-a-daisy! Jeb Bush was recently caught not telling the truth (could have been an accident) about his past connections to the NRA. Now he’s apologizing but still arguing that, of the presidential candidates, he’s got the best record on the 2nd Amendment.
A black conservative rips into the liberal media on racism.
