Actor Rips Obama as Attention Starved Celebrity

Written by Onan Coca

Comedian, actor and B-List Celebrity David Spade was recently questioned on some criticism he had for President Obama’s appearance on the Bear Grylls show, Running Wild. When the Celebrity tabloid site TMZ caught up with Spade to ask him about his comments, he made sure to focus just on the “celebrity” side of what the Obama’s seemed to be doing.
Spade wondered why the Obama’s felt compelled to constantly appear on shows such as Ellen and Running Wild while also asking for guest appearances on MTV award shows and the like. Spade seems to be implying that the Obamas are focused on life after the White House as opposed to working for the American people over the next year. He also worries that culture has degenerated to a point that he is uncomfortable with, where a President has no respect for his own position and instead considers himself a celebrity like so many others in Hollywood.
It’s hard to argue with any of Spade’s criticisms…
