On November 16, Northwestern University will play the University of Michigan in Evanston, Illinois. The game is one of the biggest on schedule for the Northwestern Wildcats, and this year is will be more important than it’s ever been. The Northwestern football team will wear some special patriotic uniforms in an effort to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.
The gray uniforms will not have the players’ names on the back of each jersey. Instead they’ll have one of seven core values printed on them: Duty, Honor, Courage, Commitment, Integrity, Country and Service.
After the game, each of the game worn jerseys will be auctioned off and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

What a great idea, and what a wonderful way to help those who have sacrificed so much to serve us.
Way to go Wildcats!
