What We’re Reading November 5, 2013

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Tuesday November 5, 2013.

White House spokesman Jay Carney was not happy with the questions coming from ABC’s Jon Karl about the Obamacare registration process, stooping so far as to misrepresent the questions and make fun of the reporter’s intelligence. Brit Hume thinks the Obama administration should be very concerned because the media smells blood with the Obamacare rollout story.

Speaking of the Obamacare registration site, it’s still having problems. It crashed again on Monday and was out of commission for well over an hour.

Why won’t the major networks run the IRS story that could break the administration? Proof has surfaced the IRS leaders broke federal law by providing private taxpayer information to the FEC.

Sean Hannity has finally voiced what so many of us have been saying for years… the GOP establishment is nothing but “watered down” Democrats. Mark Levin echoes Hannity’s comments but focuses on the GOP establishment’s lack of support for the gubernatorial candidate in Virginia.

The GOP establishment may not be stumping for Republican Governor Candidate Ken Cuccinelli, but the Tea Party and conservatives sure are. Recently he’s had Rand Paul, Marco Rubio and Scott Walker campaigning for him… but he saved the “biggest” name for last. Ron Paul is pleading with conservative and libertarian minded Virginians to vote for Cuccinelli in today’s election.

Howard Kurtz discusses the media love affair with a well-timed leak… especially when the information leaked is juicy politico gossip.

Surprise, surprise – it looks like the campaign playing dirty tricks during the 2012 Republican Primary was the Huntsman campaign! New information shows that the Huntsman campaign leaked scandalous stories about both Herman Cain and Mitch Daniels. Another wrinkle is that it seems that Huntsman’s father was Harry Reid’s source for his Mitt Romney Tax Cheat rumor.

The latest report on the impact of Obamacare shows that the average insurance premium will rise about 41%.
