We’re in the Middle East and the Terrorists are in Europe

There isn’t much to say about the attack in Paris. If someone hasn’t figured out the Islam/Terror nexus by now, it’s because they have a vested interest in keeping their head in the sand. If Obama still can’t utter the words “Islam” and “Terror” on the same day, let alone in the same paragraph, he must have an ideolgical bent which is offended were he to make such a statement. As with all liberals, the ideology is transcendent. It pre-empts everything. And if you still haven’t figured out Obama, you also have a vested interest in keeping your head shoved into a hole in the sand …or somewhere.

Obama is reported to have said that “it’s hard to find [kill?] people who don’t care if they get killed.” Obama is king of the non sequiter. Wouldn’t it be logical to expect people who don’t care about dying to be throwing themselves in front of our bullets and bayonets? But they aren’t. They’re pretty sneaky. If Obama is correct, shouldn’t these SOBs be easy to find? Why are the French having a hard time finding them? As usual, Obama is wrong in his analysis. That is because ideology drives his analysis, instead of facts. Obama is always driven by ideology. And he is always assiduously engaged in explaining away his administration’s failures or the foibles of terroristic Islamists.

FDR was critisized for not anticipating aspects of the Second World War. In fact, he seemed not to have understood some very obvious problems in Germany before the War. He believed Hitler was a “kook.” What level of “kookiness” does it take to enslave, torture and murder just one person? Or millions. Maybe the “kook” assesment was light on insight. Maybe FDR just wasn’t paying attention. But, if he had been a secret Nazi, one would have expected him to have understood what was coming in 1939. He seemed surpried and shocked by Hitler’s antics in the Sudatenland and Poland. So it’s safe to assume he wasn’t a secret Nazi. (The logic is thin, I know, but it sort of works.) Obama sometimes seems surprised by the terrorist activities, but that is possibly attributable to the fact he never seems to know what is going on until he reads it in the papers. But, where is his “shock?” And why is he such an avid apologist for these filthy savages? Is there an obvious inference about Obama that all the Media is missing?

I am an attorney in Las Vegas who has always wanted to draw political cartoons, partly because I like drawing, but mostly because I enjoy ridiculing pompous know-nothings. Verbally debating them gets nowhere. They don't know they're beaten. But poking fun at them in a drawing leaves them without recourse or rebuttal. What can they do...? Call me names, whine, cuss me ... or maybe draw a witty riposte? Unlikely.
