What We’re Reading October 19, 2015

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Monday, October 19, 2015.

The American fixation on “punishing” those who disagree has reached fever pitch, but some of the things that folks want punished just aren’t really much of a problem…

So powerful is the desire to punish that we seek to inflict righteous vengeance on people who have committed no crime — which is not righteousness at all. But we have our hearts set on executions.
