What We’re Reading October 17, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading, Saturday, October 17, 2015.

The Bomb-Clock-Briefcase building Muslim boy from Texas is winging his way across the Islamic world and he just got to meet one of his favorite celebrity’s! Muslim war criminal and President of Sudan (one of the most vile, oppressive and corrupt regimes in the world) Omar Hassan al-Bashir welcomed Ahmed Mohamed to Khartoum this past week.

Ugh. The detestable and execrable Charlie Crist is running for Congress in Florida… again.

The vast majority of pundits on the right side of the political spectrum believe that the idea of making Paul Ryan (R-WI) the next Speaker of the House is a very bad one.

Dr. Ben Carson is taking a break from the rigors of campaigning for the rigors of a book tour… but that might not be as crazy as it sounds.

Carly Fiorina thinks that Donald Trump and Ben Carson are worried about a long CNBC debate because they know they can’t keep up the illusion of being knowledgeable on the subject matter.

Oh, this should be good (and by good, I mean very bad). Hillary Clinton’s frontrunner to be her VP pick is the socialist HUD Secretary and former mayor of San Antonio, Julian Castro.

Hall of Fame basketball player and pseudo-intellectual celebrity Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has something to say about gun control and it’s mostly bad. The former Laker says we should stop talking about gun control and just start “doing” gun control…
