What We’re Reading October 21, 2013

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Monday October 21, 2013.

Happy Monday!

Is Obamacare segregating patients by race? Looks like it.

CNBC’s Maria Bartiromo says that Obamacare is making America a “Part-time employment country.”

Hillary Clinton spent some time last week on the campaign trail with Virginia’s candidate for Governor, Terry McAuliffe. She even took the time to hit President Obama with a few pot shots.

Speaking of Hillary Clinton, ABC’s Martha Raddatz seemed about to burst when asking Nancy Pelosi if she though Clinton would run for President.

Media Matters founder David Brock seems looking to head-off any potential attacks on Hillary Clinton by writing a book that tries to portray the Benghazi scandal as a “non” scandal. Good luck with that, Clinton has blood all over her hands.

Ouch. “The NSA has been systematically eavesdropping on the Mexican government for years. It hacked into the president’s public email account and gained deep insight into policymaking and the political system. The news is likely to hurt ties between the US and Mexico.”

A recent story highlights one of the most important political statements in recent memory… the real danger of the NSA scandal is public indifference.

Just two short years after the death Muammar Gaddafi the nation of Libya is at the precipice of Civil War. Again, our foreign policy proves to have been short sighted, to say the least.

What would happen if American money was no longer the most important currency on the planet? It’s sad that we have to ask these types of questions today, but that is what the Obama Presidency has wrought.

No, Time Magazine, women are not the only adults in Washington, D.C.

The French government should take note of what its youth are saying – France sucks.

The violin that played as the Titanic sunk was sold at auction recently for $1.7 Million.
