Miss South Carolina Gives Wonderful Response to Gun Control Question – Liberal Heads Explode!

I think that just about every conservative in America was pulling for Miss South Carolina during the Miss America Beauty Pageant.

The reason why likely has a lot to do with her answer to one question in particular…

During the question and answer segment of the pageant, one of the panel judges asked her if she supported a ban on “military-style assault weapons.” Thankfully, this was one contestant who hasn’t drunk the liberal anti-gun kool-aid. She gave the best answer of the night when she said, “I don’t, but because I think we need to increase education,” she said. “We have to go back there. If we teach people the proper way to use guns, then we will reduce the risk on having gun related accidents. It starts with education.”

Nice! Great answer.

I would go even further and say that bans on “military-style assault weapons” is a scaremonger term invented by anti-gun liberals. There is no such thing as an “assault” weapon and “military style” has nothing to do with how dangerous (or effective) a gun might be. The things that have gotten guns banned in America over the last 20+ years all have to do with simple ascetics. Liberals don’t like when guns or rifles “look” scary.

Gun bans don’t stop criminals or violence – they only stop law-abiding citizens from being able to defend themselves.
