What We’re Reading October 18, 2013

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Friday October 18, 2013.

Happy Friday Y’all!

Is it me or are the brain-dead liberal Hollywood types getting less and less creative? Hollywood icon Robert Redford says that the gridlock in D.C. is because Republicans are racist. Comedian Richard Lewis says our racism and hatred of the President are the reasons Republicans shut down the government. Actor Chris Noth, famous for his role on Law and Order similarly says that racism drives the Tea Party.

President Obama commands that Congress stop listening to “the activists, bloggers and talking heads on the radio,” basically anyone who disagrees with our autocrat of a President.

Hey guess what? The GOP moderates and RINO’s like Rand Paul a lot more now that they’ve seen how much they dislike Ted Cruz. It can’t be just me who is tired of the whiny Republican squishes… is it?

Illegal immigration activists promise to start taking more “radical” approaches. Right, because breaking the law and then demand handouts and special treatment isn’t radical enough. Raul Labrador (R-ID) thinks that it would be crazy for the GOP to pass the Democrats immigration reform.

Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was loudly defending the budget deal he just helped to pass while also making sure to attack the failed Obamacare legislation that is continuing to prove disastrous.

The majority of Republicans see the Tea Party as a separate element from the Party. I think most Tea Partiers would agree with that assessment.

Obamacare enrollment is nowhere near the administrations expected levels.

A substitute teacher in a public school had an embarrassing episode when he passed out in class, it was made worse when authorities learned he had been high on heroin.

Ann Coulter has new book out, learn about it here.
