The Obama era of America’s history is riddled with examples of the US President running roughshod over the rights of the people, the powers of the legislature and the historical precedents of the past. However, President Obama isn’t done just yet. In a recent interview he did with the BBC he lamented the fact that he had not yet been able to dismantle the 2nd Amendment.
If you ask me where has been the one area where I feel that I’ve been most frustrated and most stymied, it is the fact that the United States of America is the one advanced nation on earth in which we do not have sufficient, common-sense gun safety laws – even in the face of repeated mass killings.
And if you look at the number of Americans killed since 9/11 by terrorism, it’s less than 100. If you look at the number that have been killed by gun violence, it’s in the tens of thousands.
For us not to be able to resolve that issue has been something that is distressing, but it is not something that I intend to stop working on in the remaining 18 months.
Folks, it’s obvious that the President and the Democrat Party are not finished fighting against our Constitution or our God-Given inalienable rights. They will continue to seek every opportunity to weaken our rights and no circumstance will go unexploited. As an example, look only to the recent Islamic terrorist attack in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Another movie theater shooting. What is the appropriate amount of time to wait before we start discussing gun control again. Oh, never?

If you don’t like gun control, spare us your outrage when shootings occur. You decided what’s important to you, & it’s not people’s lives.

I sincerely believe this: the NRA is a terrorist organization. It should be outlawed by the government, its assets frozen and leaders jailed
