Obama’s Ridiculous Ideas about ISIS and Ideologies

Obama, ISIS and Ideologies

I don’t know how many of you caught the president’s speech last Monday, but I did, and I felt it was worthy of comment. I won’t bore you with all the details, but basically President Obama has decided that the defeat of ISIS will probably become a “generational struggle.” Apparently he feels this group of head-lopping, Allah-Akbaring desert dwellers are just too much for America to handle any time in the near future. Then he went on to explain that the problem is, they have powerful ideologies (and apparently we don’t), and because they have these ideologies we can’t defeat them with guns. This fits well into his own present philosophies of “after a certain length of time, all Muslims in prison (Guantanamo) should be released, because damn, after all this time, they’re still Muslims – prison didn’t change them.”

Mr. President, if our forefathers (those early Europeans who were ultimately compelled into “The Crusades” to save their continent from the onslaught of Islam) would have taken your approach to Islamic invasion, we’d all have prayer rugs in our closets now.

Our president – the President of the United States – (the man who has witnessed all the death and destruction across our country and around the world in the fervent name of Islam, then closed his speech with the words: “We will never be at war with Islam.”

He is either a man in denial, or a man long since removed from Christianity and patriotism. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions. Personally, I can’t remember watching a politician offer such unabashed distain for this country and Americanism.

obama-isisTo emphasize his latest philosophy, Obama stated that: “This is not simply a military effort. Ideologies are not defeated by guns, they’re defeated with better ideas.” That’s a strange comment, because, from all the pictures I’ve seen regarding the Middle East turmoil, (as the “Arab Spring” turned into “the winter of blood and mayhem”), all those Muslims I saw on television had guns in their hands. (With the exception of the ones sawing off people’s heads with knives).

“We will never be at war with Islam,” our president said, with a straight face…

I would offer Mr. Obama a little wisdom from one of the world’s greatest novelists – Robert A. Heinlein: “Anyone who clings to the historically untrue and thoroughly immoral doctrine that violence never solves anything, I would advise to conjure up the ghosts of Napoleon Bonaparte and the Duke of Wellington and let them debate it. The ghost of Hitler would referee. Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than has any other factor; and the contrary opinion is wishful thinking at its worst. Breeds that forget this basic truth have always paid for it with their lives and their freedoms.”

Sooner or later America is going to awaken to the undeniable revelation that the guy who runs our country is either an absolute idiot, or he isn’t on our side…
