What We’re Reading July 2, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Thursday, July 2, 2015.

Well, well, well, whaddaya’ know? Apparently, Hillary Clinton’s sneaky little personal email account that she used while Secretary of State wasn’t the only account that she had! In the first part of an 8 part exposé, Buzzfeed unmasks even more of Clinton’s secrets.

Ed Rogers of the Washington Post wonders if the time has finally come for Joe Biden to step into the Presidential ring and go for the gold.

In a lot of ways, Biden would be the true anti-Hillary. He is completely uninhibited, he is impossible to script — which makes him seem authentic — and he has a human appeal that everyone can relate to. Clinton, on the other hand, is running a surreal campaign that avoids crowds, media and spontaneity of any kind. She is protecting her lead in the most standard, unimaginative way possible. Compared with Clinton’s robotic, stiff approach, could having a reputation for occasionally saying the wrong thing and hugging too much work to Biden’s advantage in an era where voters want the real thing?

Chris Christie wants to be the next President of the United States – what does his path to relevance look like?

President Obama announced on Wednesday that the USA and Cuba have reached an agreement to reopen their embassies in Havana and Washington, D.C.

When the media talks about “Right-Wing Terror” they don’t actually mean “right-wing”; it’s just a phrase they like to parrot. Bloomberg News finds that many instances of reported “right-wing” terror are actually “left-wing” terror, or even “no-wing” terror. The media simply prefers connecting the terrorism to “right-wingers” which also implies small government conservatives. Guilt by association.

Sorry liberals, but America is NOT a racist nation.

Statewide GOP candidates have a big problem in the 2016 election, and that is that they just don’t know who their Presidential candidate will be. Republican Senate candidates face the harsh reality that their party’s presidential nominees have a bigger impact on their reelection than their own campaigns.

With the Export-Import Bank being shut down, corporate welfare has been delivered a haymaker and freedom has won a victory. The question is can we keep the Ex-Im Bank down?
