What We’re Reading June 2, 2015

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Tuesday, June 2, 2015.

Relax folks, and breathe easy when you travel. Undercover testing discovers that the TSA finds 3 out of every 70 bombs and weapons that people try to sneak onto planes. That’s a 95% failure rate! Seriously, the TSA is almost good for nothing.

The sad fact is that we cannot trust the NSA; we must monitor their actions very carefully – even as we fight the war on terror.

The Jeb Bush campaign is starting to get worried. After a quick fundraising start that sent fear throughout the GOP field, the money has quickly dried up for team Bush and they are now scrambling to keep their money troubles quiet.

Another GOP candidate seems ready to divide up the nation of Iraq in an effort to win the peace. Count Governor Scott Walker as someone who is willing to listen to a partition plan that might ensure a peaceful future.

“Ideas like that are certainly worth looking at… Before you start talking about dividing up anything you have to get control over there. If you have Sunnis and Shiites and Kurds as you mentioned, distinctive categories, but the Sunnis have to be the freedom-loving ones, responsible ones, they can’t be the more radical elements of the Islamic State.”
