Rand Paul’s New Wrestling-Inspired Campaign Ad is Epic

America’s Liberty PAC has released an all-new campaign ad in support of Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), and the inspiration behind it is clear for most everyone who watches it. The ad hearkens back to a simpler time, when wrestling was all the rage and kids would beg their parents to take them to see their favorite wrestlers as their travelling show came into town. With cries of “Sunday, Sunday, Sunday…” the ad begins stirring the memories of every little boy who grew up in the 1980’s cheering for Hulk Hogan and the other cast of wrestling characters.

The brilliant advertisement compares Senator Paul to a heroic wrestler taking on the big bad guy and his minions. In this case, the big bad guy is “Obama the Email Reader” and his accomplices in the Republican Party (including Senator’s Cruz and Graham).

The ad may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it sure did make me happy. I miss those Sunday fights!
