Breaking News

What We’re Reading May 30, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Saturday, May 30, 2015.

It’s not just Iraq. Now the Syrian army seems to be running in full retreat from ISIS.

And now there are ever-increasing talks of sending US troops back to Iraq to aid in the fight against ISIS. So what would a new Iraq “surge” look like? In fact, the only way that Americans think we should get back in the fight in Iraq is if we send troops!

The last thing America needs right now is a leftist version of the Tea Party (not that liberals could ever put so large a group together); instead the Democrat Party should shift back to the right and stop pulling our nation so hard to the left.

Uh-oh. The church of global warming is not going to be happy… a new study just released from climate scientists in England suggests that the next decade will be one of global cooling!

Former Republican Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert (R-IL) is under indictment as authorities say he was paying someone off in an effort to conceal past sexual misconduct.

More and more doctors are quitting, and there is a very real legal (and political) reason as to why.
