Muslims Attack Innocent Americans – Liberal Group says Outlaw Guns!

I saw that some whacky group wants tougher gun laws legislated in the wake of the Cartoon contest in Garland, Texas. The group calls themselves “Mothers For Reason.”  Or something similar.

As is usual in liberal groups, words mean something other than their plain and accepted meaning. Based on what the group says about guns and the inference we are to draw from them about how “fewer guns would have prevented the deaths of those two well intentioned Muslim guys who started shooting up the cartoon contest” it is clear “reason” is foreign to them. My Mom hated guns …and knives… and fists. (Strangely, she somehow forgot her hatred for guns and weapons when she married a recently retired sergeant who had commanded a tank in WW II. Of course, people sometimes compromise their ideals … particularly when it allows them to marry a good lookin’ farm boy who recently wore a uniform…quite handsomely. And since you can’t carry a tank around in your pocket, Mom saw the obvious distinction.)

My Mom was a mom, but who are these “Moms For Reason?”

Maybe they’re “moms” in the sense that liberal women usually are.

You know … the “Margaret Sanger'” kind of women/moms.

Not real moms.

As usual, my cartoon is a silly exaggeration of the facts. That’s what cartoons do.

I doubt that even a bunch of liberal dummies and phonies, who make up the rolls of some outfit which is so irrational and misguided as to propose more gun laws in order to prevent more Islamic terrorists from shooting up our country, would be dumb enough to allow Abdul or his pals from joining up.

Of course, Abdul’s dues fit in to the coffers as easy as anyone’s.

Margaret Sanger would be proud.

I am an attorney in Las Vegas who has always wanted to draw political cartoons, partly because I like drawing, but mostly because I enjoy ridiculing pompous know-nothings. Verbally debating them gets nowhere. They don't know they're beaten. But poking fun at them in a drawing leaves them without recourse or rebuttal. What can they do...? Call me names, whine, cuss me ... or maybe draw a witty riposte? Unlikely.
