Folks, it is a VERY BIG day in Washington, D.C. The Republican led Congress just passed the first “regular- order” Congressional budget since 2009! If you’re counting, that is some 6 years since the last time our nation actually had a budget.
Uh-oh. It seems that the prosecutor in Baltimore may have bitten off a bit more than she can chew, and now observers are wondering if she has any chance of actually winning her case.
Soccer Mom’s Unite! It seems that the “opt-out” movement is sweeping the nation as more and more parents are instructing their children to avoid taking cumbersome standardized tests. The revolt against the Common Core is growing and so is the anger of the Obama administration.
Hillary Clinton is no fan of the First Amendment. In fact, she dislikes freedom of speech so much that she recently signed on to a campaign to attempt to rewrite the First Amendment in an effort to stop people from criticizing her! What people seem to forget is that the First Amendment was written not to protect speech in general, but to specifically protect offensive speech… especially when it’s political!
It’s about time. It took a while, but former Texas Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) has finally seen the light and is now opposing the Ex-Im Bank.
