What We’re Reading September 17, 2013

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Tuesday September 17, 2013.

12 people were killed yesterday when a gunman walked into the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. and opened fire. 32 year old Aaron Alexis of Fort Worth, Texas was identified as the shooter and was killed in a standoff with local police.

How uncomfortable can the federal government make the questions they’ll be asking you once Obamacare goes into effect? Pretty uncomfortable

Eric Holder and other government officials spoke at a political training session for black ministers that detailed a “right-wing conspiracy” that was coming for black voters.

The fight between Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and David Vitter (R-LA) has moved into some pretty nasty territory, but there is also a lot at stake.
