What We’re Reading September 13, 2013

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Friday September 13, 2013.

Syrian dictator Bashar al Assad says that there will be no deal on chemical weapons unless President Obama stops arming the Syrian rebels.

The Washington Times is reporting that they’ve uncovered emails that prove Lois Lerner, who was Director of the IRS, was purposefully and specifically targeting conservative groups.

To spy on us more effectively the NSA pretended it was Google.

As the Obamacare legislation draws nearer, the public sector unions are getting more and more upset that they’ll be losing their healthcare benefits. I guess they may have a bit of remorse for their initial support of Obamacare… in fact, Obamacare likely would not have passed without union support. Maybe they’ll think twice next time the Democrats ask for their brainless support.

The government is trying to define who exactly gets to say that they are a journalist. (Watch out for your freedom of speech, folks!)

Legislators in Washington, D.C. better listen up! Americans do not want Congress to pass an internet tax bill.

The Northeast is getting older every day, and compared to the rest of the country the NE is downright ancient.

Senator Marco Rubio has written an op-ed for the National Review online outlining the reasons that Vladimir Putin is wrong about America.

Colorado is getting pounded by some very bad storms.
