Another American Muslim Arrested Trying to Join ISIS!

Another American Muslim has been arrested trying to leave the US to join ISIS.

Had she been successful, Ms Thomas would have joined thousands of Westerners who have left the countries they resided in to join the monsters of ISIS.

I recently attended an event at the Islamic Center of Orange County, which was dedicated to the effort to convince us that ISIS has nothing to do with Islam. One of the panelists was CAIR’s Southern California director, Hussam Ayloush, an arrogant propagandist if there ever was one. During his discourse (which included asking why there were no anti-radicalization programs aimed at synagogues and churches or no questioning of why young Jewish American men were joining the Israeli Defense Forces), Ayloush quoted a US government estimate that only about 12-20 Americans had gone to join ISIS.

First of all, I think the FBI has intercepted that many alone. God only knows how many have successfully departed. And that only counts ISIS. How about the Somalis in America who have left to join Al Shabaab? It is believed that at least one was involved in the Westgate Mall massacre in Nairobi last year.

But here is another question for Mr Ayloush and his cohorts: How many American Muslims are they aware of-or even Western Muslims- that have left their countries of residence to go to Iraq or Syria to take up arms against ISIS?

I have yet to hear of any.
