Liberals are always talking about sacrifice and doing what is good for society. Have you ever noticed that? But, none of their ideas are actually good for society. And, as liberal policy makers push their liberal ideology, they don’t actually make any sacrifices themselves.
In their wake, they leave the destruction and shattered lives that are the result of their progressive liberal ideas. None of those ideas work. The evidence is swift and overwhelming.
According to frontpagemag.com, the murder rate is up 20% in New York City since Mayor De Blasio took office. The New York Daily News reports that 25% of all subway trains are late, a 6% increase in just one year.
And, that is in just one year. Can you imagine what the effect of soft-on-crime liberal policies of Mayor De Blasio will be in a few years?
Liberals love their policies, no matter what the result, and just keeping on be-bopping along their destructive path. So, we need to start being soft on crime at an even younger age.
In cities across the country, urban schools are implementing a system of “restorative justice.” When a student attacks a teacher or another student, that person is no longer immediately removed from the classroom and given a punishment that is commiserate with the crime.
Nope, the student and the person who was attacked immediately go into a room for restorative justice. The criminal gets a “talking stick” and is allowed to talk about his or feelings.
This process is to “restore” the criminal. Isn’t that nice? No kick in the pants here. No way, people who perpetuate assault need to be “heard” and “talk about their feelings.”
The restorative justice website states: “Restorative justice emphasizes repairing the harm caused by crime. When victims, offenders and community members meet to decide how to do that, the results can be transformational.”
Yes, the results are transformational. And, if we want to transform the entire country to be just like Detroit, we just need to keep on implementing liberal policies.
