What We’re Reading March 3, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Tuesday, March 3, 2015.

Most of us younger conservatives have understood for quite some time that our philosophy and our political beliefs had become countercultural – now it seems like the rest of the conservative community is starting to finally embrace this reality.

Governor Scott Walker (R-WI) is publicly and forcefully pushing forward on his embrace of two “controversial” political issues that are sure to win him points with conservatives. He is wholeheartedly embracing Israel and advocating conservative government as an effort to heal our bonds. The Governor also says that his perspective on illegal immigration has begun to shift, as he now advocates securing the border first before any other action on illegal immigration.

My how times change… Bruce Springsteen’s iconic “Born in the USA” could now actually be a modern conservative anthem!

In Russia, Vladimir Putin rules with an iron hand while imposing a culture of fear and death…

In Texas, Federal authorities raided a political meeting, then finger printed everyone in attendance while also confiscating cell phones and personal recording devices. So much for the right to peaceably assemble.

Syria’s Christians have decided that the time has come to fight back against the evil radical Islamic scourge.

In one Saudi Arabian prison, terrorists are treated like kings.
