Breaking News

What We’re Reading February 28, 2015

We hope you’re having a great day wherever you are and that the news we dig up for you this morning helps you navigate the day more efficiently!

It’s a busy world out there, and you don’t have a ton of free time to be doing Internet searches for the most important items of the day… lucky for you, we do. We drink gallons of coffee in an effort to stay awake long enough to scour the far reaches of the world wide web in an effort to bring you the most important, useful and useless information every single day.

You’re welcome.

So without further ado, here’s what we’re reading Saturday February 28, 2015.

The Final Day of CPAC 2015 is here and the convention has been a huge success thus far.

Is CPAC 2015 the beginning of Governor Chris Christie’s (R-NJ) comeback tour – or is the Governor done for good?

Is Washington, D.C. ready for the death of Obamacare?

The possibility that the U.S. Supreme Court will soon eliminate federal subsidies for people buying health insurance through the Affordable Care Act is the biggest story in politics and economics that no one wants to talk about.

In the National Review online Jonah Goldberg writes that Liberalism seems exhausted.

It may not be dead, but it looks mighty worn out.

And John McCain continues to inspire confidence around the GOP… this is why conservatives can’t stand the man. A story breaks in the middle of CPAC saying that an aide to John McCain called Presidential frontrunner and Governor of Wisconsin Scott Walker (R-WI) a “Dumba**.”
I know some of you still like John McCain (and his buddies in the GOP) but you realize that the man has mocked the Tea Party, called Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and others like them “Whacko Birds”, and consistently sides against conservatism. McCain’s time has come and gone…

Scientists are wrong ALL of the time.

The Snowdenites seem to be winning the argument over privacy or security.
